Assistant Manager

Claremar Twin Lakes Camp-Resort is hiring for the position of Assistant Campground Manager in New London, OH. Connect with travelers and campers while working in the beautiful lakefront setting of this 500-site RV and Camping Resort with plenty of exciting growth and development currently in the works!

What you’ll do:
The Assistant Campground Manager will work alongside the Managing Partner and the Campground Managers to run the daily operations of the property including reservation management, seasonal site sales, recreation and activities, camp store, housekeeping, maintenance, invoicing, and bookkeeping/data entry. This position acts as a liaison between guests, residents, and employees to answer questions and resolve issues by using appropriate conflict resolution skills. This position will also aid in the planning and implementation of new and ongoing projects. This is a full-time, year-round position.

Your job responsibilities will include:
Greet prospective customers and show them the property, sites, and amenities
Execute agreements with new and returning guests/residents and ensure that the terms and conditions of contracts are understood
Respond to questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner
Collect payment, including overdue payments, and address other issues requiring immediate attention
Manage maintenance and cleaning staff and oversee general maintenance, grounds, repair, and housekeeping
Schedule, plan, and help execute functions, activities, and events on-site
Manage calendars and perform general administrative tasks
Ensure safety requirements are adhered to at all times
Ensure that guests, residents, and employees feel comfortable, valued, and appreciated

Necessary skills:
At least 2 years of experience managing a team of employees, preferably to include campground experience
A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
Strong customer service, communication, and administrative skills
Professional, detail-oriented, responsible, and organized with strong problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of maintenance
Flexible schedule; able to work days, evenings, weekends, and summer holidays
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Quickbooks online preferred

RV Technician/ Detailer

Camp Life RV has an immediate opening for an entry level RV Technician / Detailer.

This is hybrid role for our dealership, so you’ll get to experience twice the variety in day-to-day tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and thorough, with an interest and skills in light mechanical work. This is a full-time position for weekdays, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Essential Job Functions:
Prep RV for customer purchase and showroom floor/sales lot
Perform documented Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
Perform light mechanical work such as installing batteries, propane tanks, applying putty sticks, applying silicone, helping hang awnings, etc.
May cross train to perform other duties (warranty repairs and part replacements)
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Service Manager
Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Essential Job Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Travel Trailer appliance operation (Training provided as needed)
General hand tool use along with basic electrical diagnostic tools
Experience in light mechanical work
Must possess a strong attention to detail
Ability lift up to 50 lbs. and/or move up to 100 lbs. with assistance
Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with travel trailers
Willingness to accept further job training as needed.

Extra opportunities may be offered to provide needed assistance to ClareMar Twin Lakes Camping Resort which is also located on the property.
Full-time associates are offered a 90 day review, with pay increase. Paid holidays after 90 days of continuous employment.
